Recently, i listen to Silversun Pickups a lot. Because i love them. Bought their CD “Swoon” about a month ago, after accidently stumbling over a video of an unplugged session played by them at a radio station, which completely blew me away. I had heard about them before, even fragments of a song were already planted inside my head at that time, but i needed to hear more. Downloaded the album from the Global Repository™ and even before i finished listening to it in it’s entirety i ordered the CD.

Finally i managed to switch my webhosting provider. 5 years i have been with Strato and it was about time to get out of there. When i started building my first CMS-based site with Contenido on their servers it was slow as hell, but as i had no real CMS experience and heard they are kind of hungry, performance-wise, i just thought this was normal. And back then good and inexpensive providers were a bit hard to find.

Just found a really beautiful skate video of a somewhat different kind on Nerdcore. It has originally been aired on Arte last Saturday, and it is indeed more of an art film than just your average skate video. I absolutely love the idea behind it, also the execution is simply breathtakingly gorgeous. I found myself thinking “how did they do this” several times throughout my first viewing. And the ending really surprised me. Made me smile!
